Chocolate Yogurt Cookies

Today I made Chocolate Yogurt Cookies!

This recipe is in the “All-New Complete Cooking Light Cookbook” (under the name “Cocoa Fudge Cookies”)

1C flour, 1/4t baking soda, 1/8t salt, 5T butter, 7T cocoa, 2/3C sugar, 1/3C brown sugar, 1/3C plain lowfat yogurt, 1t vanilla

Preheat oven to 350F.

Chocolate Yogurt Cookies

Sift together dry ingredients. Melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa and sugars. Add yogurt. Add vanilla. Blend well. Add dry ingredients. Stir until moist. Drop by level tablespoons 2″ apart onto well-greased cookie sheets or food-grade silicone-reinforced glass-weave mats. Bake 8-10 minutes or until almost set. Cool 2-3 minutes or until firm. Remove to racks.
