Today we made Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies!
1/4C flour, 1/3C unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2t salt, 1/4t baking powder, 12 oz chocolate chips, 1/3C creamy peanut butter, 1/2C sugar, 1t vanilla extract, 2 eggs
Sift together dry ingredients. In large saucepan, melt ONLY 6 ounces (1C) of the chocolate chips, and peanut butter. Stir until smooth.
Stir in sugar. Cool 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Stir 2 eggs into chocolate mixture.
Mix in vanilla. Blend well.
Add dry ingredients. Stir until just blended.
Stir in remaining chips.
Drop by T onto foil-lined cookie sheets.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until slightly cracked on top, and the cookie edges are coming slightly away from the foil. Do not overbake.
