Today we made Caramel Frozen Yogurt!

16 oz nonfat plain yogurt, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

Drain yogurt overnight in a fine mesh sieve suspended over a bowl, covered in plastic wrap. In the morning, discard liquid.

In small saucepan, cook sweetened condensed milk over medium heat until golden, stirring constantly.

Whisk into drained yogurt. Blend well.

Squash Ice Milk

Today we made Squash Ice Milk!

1C mashed, steamed butternut squash, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, 1T cinnamon, 1/4C brown sugar, 1C skim milk

Beat all ingredients until well blended.

Drunken Strawberry Almond Ice Milk

Today we made Drunken Strawberry Almond Ice Milk!

1 pint strawberries, coarsely chopped into 1/2″ pieces; 1C dry gin, 1T almond extract, 2T sugar, 14 oz sweetened, condensed milk; 1C skim milk, 4 oz almonds, coarsely chopped

In medium bowl, stir together gin, almond extract and sugar.

Add strawberries. Blend well.

Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill 2 or more hours. Mix together milks.

Peach Sorbet

Today we made Peach Sorbet!

1C water, 2T cornstarch, 2 small peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped finely, 1/2C sugar

Stir constantly, water and cornstarch over medium heat until thickened. Continue heating just until bubbly.

Remove from heat. Stir in sugar until dissolved.

Today we made Blackberry Sorbet!

6 oz fresh ripe blackberries, 1C water, 1 1/2T cornstarch, 1/4C sugar

Push berries through fine mesh sieve.

Today we made Frozen Coconut Marshmallow Fudge Pie!

1C chocolate chips, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, 2C mini marshmallows, 2C sweetened shredded coconut, 1/4C skim milk, 1 graham cracker pie shell

Melt chocolate with sweetened, condensed milk over low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

Today we made Strawberry Marshmallow Coconut Ice Cream!

1 pint strawberries, chopped into 1/2″ pieces; 2C mini marshmallows, 1C half and half, 1/2C sugar, 1/2C skim milk, 1C shredded coconut

Melt marshmallows with half and half and skim milk over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat.

Frozen Banana Fudge Pie

Today we made Frozen Banana Fudge Pie!

1 graham cracker pie shell, 2 small bananas or 1 medium banana, 14 oz sweetened condensed milk, 1C chocolate chips, 1/2C skim milk

Slice banana into thin disks and place in pie shell in one layer.
